Smith Machine Overhead Press

  1. To begin, place a flat bench on a Smith machine. Position the barbell so that when seated, the arms can easily reach out the barbell.
  2. Unlock the barbell from the support and place it above yourself on extended arms. When performing the exercise, keep your feet stationary. This will be your starting position.
  3. Slowly lower the barbell down to the chin level.
  4. Then lift the barbell back to the starting position as you exhale.
